Summary:Operation of Panel Saw equipment and limited CNC duties. Detailing and machining of cabinets and sub assembly components. Hours are from Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.
Other task and duties as assigned.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operation of Panel Saw machine
  • Limited use of CNC machines
  • Perform quality checks on part to ensure machines are running properly
  • Coordinate flow of material to and from machine area
  • Sustain the production schedule
  • Maintain proper tolerance on machined stock, Feed or catch on machine as needed
  • Maintain accurate count of items processed
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time.
  • Responds appropriately to requests for routine information and communicates clearly and accurately and promptly.
  • Adapts to new techniques and technologies that are introduced to the work area.
  • Chooses the correct PPE, methods and tools and equipment to carry out the job.
  • Engages in continuous skill development and practice.
  • Works to agreed standards and meets deadlines.

  • Ability to formulate basic questions relevant to clarifying a problem, topic or issue
  • Demonstrates a flexible, positive ‘can do’ approach to delivering team results.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills
  • Ability to use and interpret a tape measure using 1/16ths.
Education/Experience:1- 5 year woodworking & 2-5 year CNC machining. Operation of Panel Saw equipment and limited CNC duties. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Physical Demands:The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands, fingers, handle, reach with hands and arms.
