- Partner with Regional Director and District Managers to drive people strategies that strengthen leadership capability, elevate performance, and fuel team engagement.
- Provide thought leadership and support on people and organizational issues, leveraging resources, programs, and tools across Gap Inc. HR centers of excellence (Talent Management, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Recruiting, Learning & Development).
- Actively advise leaders on the people and organizational impact of business decisions; ensure change and transformation plans are thoughtfully executed.
- Lead talent management and succession planning activities to create a strong and diverse pipeline of “ready now” leaders.
- Deploy retention strategies that build belonging, stability, and momentum across the region.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities; develop and implement solutions that enhance business outcomes.
- Champion inclusivity, foster belonging, and ensure every employee experience reflects Athleta's values.
- Collaborate with leaders to inspire confidence, fuel performance, and deliver high-performing teams that win together.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business, or related field.
- Proven HR technical background across key disciplines including employee relations, compensation, benefits, talent management, and organizational development.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a retail environment.
- Demonstrated success supporting a field organization, including multi-unit leadership structures.
- Strong business orientation, ability to analyze data, and drive results that align with business goals.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and coaching skills with a proven ability to build authentic, trusted partnerships.
