QualificationsAbout the Role: Maxwell Center: Environmental Services AssistantStep into a meaningful role as part of the Maxwell Center’s Residential Network—a 24/7 staffed supportive housing program dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey to wellness.The Maxwell Center is a welcoming 10-bed, long-term facility where residents receive compassionate care, including daily living assistance, personal support, and homemaking services. Here, residents thrive through group and recreational therapy activities while engaging with a wide range of outpatient services offered by North Range.As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will work both independently and/or part of a supervised team to perform a full range of custodial tasks. This includes tasks specifically related to the maintenance and cleanliness of the building and grounds.Be part of a team that fosters hope, healing, and growth—apply today to join the Maxwell Center community!Key Responsibilities:
Provide routine cleaning services effectively and efficiently in and around assigned building(s) including, but not limited to: dust, sanitize, clean glass, sweep, mop, vacuum and stock supplies.
Discard trash, recyclables, cardboard, paper and unwanted materials.
Identify and report maintenance and repair needs and problems.
Communicate respectfully and effectively with staff and customers regarding janitorial issues. Effectively communicate with facility services manager and other team members.
Actively seek work during slow times without instruction from supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED is preferred
1 year of related experience preferred
Experience:
No prior experience is required, though it’s preferred.
