- Negotiating all aspects of the catering sales contract including food & beverage pricing and other specific services
- Prospecting, cold calls/warm calls on a continuous basis, setting appointments with prospects, making sales presentations, closing sales
- Building and maintaining good relationship with clients
- Creating relations with hospitality professionals, businesses, hotels, etc
- Researching and pursuing new business development opportunities
- Attend industry events as they relate to potential business
- Generating punctual, accurate sales reports on a regular basis
- Assisting management in coordinating all front of house operations
- 2 to 5 years sales experience in hospitality, catering, or related field
- Ability to cultivate and maintain business relationships
- Solid organization and execution of marketing and networking initiatives
- Familiarity negotiating contracts for food and beverage, private parties
- Understanding of restaurant and catering operations, including staffing, rentals, logistics and decor required
- Existing relationships in hospitality industry and marketing
- Strong leadership and communication skills
