Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.How you'll succeedContribute to the design and management of events, including research and making recommendations, contract negotiation, budgeting, financial reconciliation, and conference management.Apply a comprehensive, conceptual and practical understanding of the organization and delivery of events and conferences to a wide range of business and technical situations.Solve business, operational, and technical problems within the scope of their job, and forms improvement recommendations to ensure CIBC corporate events meet all business unit and senior management objectives.Who you areYou have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.You have a minimum of 5+ years related experience .You have exceptional verbal, written, and organizational skills along with a strong sense of accountability and keen attention to detail.You have solid relationship management and networking skillsYou are proactive in planning and organizingYou have strong technical, creative and innovative thinking skillsAt CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $80,000K - $85,000K for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
