Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Farmingdale, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers.
Safely operate company vehicles to transport and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations
Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items
Plan and optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon package delivery
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle maintenance issues promptly
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Basic math skills for calculating delivery charges and handling cash transactions
Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be preferred for certain vehicles
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Familiarity with the Farmingdale area and surrounding regions is a plus

A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24- 30 and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push· Trays may also be pulledClimbing· Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenanceStooping/Bending· Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station· Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station· Duration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day· Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredientsCrouching/Squatting· Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areasReaching· Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forwardHand Tasks· Eye-hand coordination is essential; use of hands is continuous during the day· Frequently activities require use of one or both hands· Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists
