- Draft, edit, and prepare estate planning documents such as revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and related amendments under attorney supervision.
- Guide clients through each phase of the estate planning process with professionalism and empathy, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
- Assist with asset alignment and trust funding, including the preparation of transfer documents and beneficiary designations.
- Support attorneys with trust administration and probate matters, ensuring compliance with deadlines and filing requirements.
- Maintain accurate client records, case files, and internal deadlines.
- Coordinate document signings, notarizations, and delivery of finalized estate plans.
- Collaborate with attorneys, clients, financial advisors, and tax professionals to ensure effective implementation of estate plans.
- Stay informed on changes in estate planning law, best practices, and document drafting standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience as an estate planning paralegal in a law firm or similar legal environment.
- Strong knowledge of estate planning concepts, probate processes, and trust administration.
- Exceptional organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
- Proficiency in legal practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Paralegal certificate or degree preferred; substantial relevant experience may be considered instead of formal education.
- Full-time position with a salary range of $70,000 to $78,000 per year.
