Heavy Highway Estimator – Civil ConstructionWe are seeking an experienced and driven Estimator to join a leading civil construction firm specializing in heavy highway projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in estimating and bidding on a wide range of infrastructure projects, including asphalt, concrete, and earthwork. The ideal candidate has a strong background in civil construction estimating and thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and timely estimates for multiple concurrent heavy highway projectsPerform full-cycle estimating including take-offs, vendor/subcontractor solicitation, and bid reviewsCollaborate with customers, engineers, vendors, and internal departments to understand project scope and ensure competitive bidsSupport project handoff, change order calculations, and post-job cost analysisParticipate in job reviews to refine estimating strategies and improve performanceWhat We’re Looking For:5+ years of estimating experience in heavy highway or related civil constructionProficiency in estimating software (B2W preferred) and digital tools such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management platformsBackground in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (degree or equivalent experience)Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teamsFamiliarity with safety and environmental standards (OSHA, MSHA, etc.)Preferred Skills:Knowledge of HMA/Concrete estimating, project management, and means & methodsExperience with XBE, Spectrum, and Monday.com a plusHigh attention to detail and ethical decision-makingEmotional intelligence and values-based leadershipWhat You’ll Gain:A role with
