
Manager – Media O&O Strategy and Growth

- Supports all aspects of strategic planning activities for NFL Media's O&O business, in partnership with the executive team and other key stakeholders, while ensuring alignment with broader NFL-wide planning processes (i.e., long-range planning, annual business/budget planning, quarterly business reviews, and NFL ownership meetings)
- Identifies areas of opportunity for value creation to drive revenue growth, operating profitability, and strategic positioning
- Structures and builds sophisticated financial models for pivotal business development opportunities and growth strategies
- Supports development of executive-level presentations summarizing key insights and recommended strategies
- Engages across the organization to implement strategic roadmap elements within current execution plans to achieve the group's business objectives
- Maintains advanced knowledge of industry trends / competitive activities, and translate insights into strategic frameworks to inform NFL Media's business strategic planning process
- Leverages understanding of consumer, media, and technology trends to oversee the development of long-term strategic roadmaps for key strategic initiatives, including NFL+
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of work experience that includes one or a combination of the following:
- Management Consulting (preferably within the Media, Technology, or Telecom practice)
- Investment Banking (preferably within the Media, Technology, or Telecom practice)
- Corporate development, strategy, and analytics (preferably at a sports, media or technology company)
- Experience in developing evidence-based strategic frameworks to inform decision-making
- A keen eye for presentation design and the ability to distill complex concepts and analyses into clear, easy-to-understand presentations
- Strong analytical skills with a quantitative approach to problem solving and comfort with data ambiguity
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with several deliverables under tight deadlines
- Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving
- Experience interfacing and presenting to senior executives and management teams
- High level of integrity, strong work ethic, and deep intellectual curiosity
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative DNA
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- Overall knowledge of linear television, digital, and direct-to-consumer landscape including current and emerging platforms and content consumption trends
- Overall knowledge of sports, and passion for the NFL specifically
- May occasionally require travel (5%)
