- Support Recruitment Strategy: Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager and Regional Recruiters to understand staffing needs and contribute to the execution of regional recruiting strategies.
- Full-Cycle Recruiting Support: Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, managing background checks, and extending offers in compliance with company policies.
- Offer Management: Draft and deliver offer letters, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies.
- Applicant Tracking: Track and maintain applicant data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate and organized records for all recruitment activities.
- Partnership Building: Establish and maintain partnerships with local trade schools, community organizations, and state workforce development programs to develop a pipeline of candidates.
- Event Participation: Represent the company at job fairs, school career days, and community outreach events to promote employment opportunities.
- Initiative Coordination: Assist in coordinating workforce development initiatives aimed at attracting skilled and entry-level candidates to the organization.
- Resource Utilization: Stay informed about state and community workforce development resources and provide recommendations on how to leverage these for talent acquisition.
- New Hire Coordination: Support the onboarding process by preparing and coordinating new hire paperwork, including tax documents, benefits enrollment, and other HR-related forms.
- Orientation Support: Assist in delivering orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, culture, and expectations.
- Main Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their onboarding, addressing any questions or concerns to ensure a smooth transition.
- HR Assistance: Provide ongoing support to employees related to People Services policies, benefits, and payroll inquiries.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
- General HR Support: Assist with employee relations, performance management, and other HR functions as needed.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in HR, staffing, or workforce development preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Familiarity with workforce development programs and community outreach is a plus.
