- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders across Technical Operations (R&D, Clinical Research, and Medical Affairs), deeply understanding their unique needs and translating business strategies into IT capabilities and roadmaps aligned with enterprise goals.
- Shape and prioritize demand by guiding the development of business cases and ensuring initiatives are aligned with enterprise strategy and deliver measurable value.
- Champion innovation by promoting the use of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, ML, digital twins) to accelerate product development and clinical research outcomes.
- Drive strategic digital initiatives across Technical Operations by enhancing data and analytics capabilities, supporting clinical trials, evidence generation, and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure IT investments are aligned with business priorities, delivering measurable outcomes that advance innovation and operational resilience.
- Strengthen foundational capabilities through robust data governance, cybersecurity, and lifecycle management to support secure and compliant operations.
- Orchestrate IT participation in fusion teams, ensuring the right technical experts are engaged.
- Provide product managers with insights into business priorities, regional nuances, and customer needs.
- Advocate for and communicate available IT services, platforms (e.g., low-code/no-code), and self-service capabilities.
- Guide business leaders in selecting appropriate solution sources—internal, external, or hybrid—and ensure formal evaluation processes are followed.
- Partner with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
- Support resilient operations through robust data governance and lifecycle management.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards at both the enterprise and product levels while working closely with security and architecture teams to safeguard data and systems
- Foster a culture of collaboration and digital fluency across Technical Operations.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technologies.
- Ensure seamless integration across the digital ecosystem to support a world-class customer experience.
- Oversee at least one direct report to support execution and leadership development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with significant exposure to R&D, Clinical, or Medical Affairs functions.
- Proven track record of delivering complex digital solutions in regulated environments (e.g., FDA, GxP).
- Strong understanding of data analytics, AI/ML, and digital health technologies.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
- Background in product or software-based environments
