Location: Elk Grove Village, IllinoisWhat you will be doing:Follow written instructions and read and interpret blueprints and specifications.Performs a complex series of progressive machining operations on a diversified line of work to close and exact tolerances and finish specifications.Able to perform simple set-ups of many jobs. May operate more than one machine.Read and react accordingly to Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) reportsComplete problem-solving activities with a continuous improvement mindsetComply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work areaChecks parts for conformance to specifications with precision gauges.Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.What you must have:Preferred five or more years of combined formal training and true five-axis experience or equivalent.Broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC machine tool operating procedures, specifically the Okuma 5-axis OSP-P300 CNC Control.Ability to apply recognized tooling and procedures where tolerances are closeExperience with tool setup and compensation processesGeometric tolerancing and dimensioning trainedMust be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.Must be able to read and write English.
