- Develop and drive the US Rare Emergency Medicine medical affairs strategy for rare and emergency medicine assets, from early clinical development through commercialization and post-marketing.
- Lead efforts to seek expert insights, scientific engagement, generate real-world evidence, develop publication strategies, and support investigator-initiated research to address key scientific and clinical questions.
- Serve as the senior medical voice to KOLs, medical societies, and advocacy groups. Lead the development of advisory boards and scientific exchange strategies.
- Partner with Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial teams to ensure strategic alignment, especially around data dissemination, launch readiness, and product positioning.
- Oversee development of scientific communication platforms, core medical content, and field medical training to ensure consistency and accuracy across regions.
- Develop and execute omnichannel medical marketing strategy aligned to support the brand vision for each asset within the Rare Emergency Medicine Portfolio.
- Play a pivotal role in product launch planning and execution, ensuring robust medical support and evidence generation for regulatory approvals and market access.
- Act as the medical expert for our Emergency Medicine business unit
- Design, implement and leverage transfer of knowledge and advisory initiatives
- Facilitate Investigator Initiated research/study (IIS) medical requests
- Lead engagement at medical and scientific meetings and symposia to maintain awareness of current issues and new data pertaining to assigned products and to communicate scientific information
- Take part, communicate and collaborate within SERB US Leadership Team to ensure alignment and drive performance
- PharmD, MD, PhD
- 10+ years of medical affairs and/or MSL experience
- Proven track record in acute care / hospital medical affairs
- Demonstrated understanding and strategic application of medico-marketing, customer insights and account management
- Experience in KOL management, advocacy and scientific society engagement
- Cardiovascular or Surgery Therapeutic area experience is preferred
- Self-motivated with leadership abilities and excellent communication skills
