POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warranty Returns Associate will reconcile hand tool warranty returns from our distributor network. This involves identifying tools by item number and matching the items to the packing list created by the distributor. The successful candidate will be able to identify and sort failed tools for common failures for quality purposes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Open parcel packages and transfer items to sorting binsIdentify tool by item number from marking on tool or from paper/online catalogIssue or deny credit to distributor by appropriately coding warranty claim in computer systemFor items denied credit, pack and ship item back to distributorSort like items for return to supply baseMove items to quarantine area and help load onto truck for transport to scrap facilityMust have:
