They bring products to life; powered by passion, driven by purpose.Job DescriptionThe Electro Mechanical Technician maintains, troubleshoots, installs, and repairs electrical and mechanical equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures optimal equipment performance, supports cross-training, and contributes to a safe and efficient workplace.QualificationsResponsibilities:
  • Equipment Maintenance & Repair
  • Installs, modifies, and repairs electrical and mechanical systems
  • Aligns, fits, and assembles components using hand and power tools
  • Troubleshoots A/C and D/C drives and control systems
  • Repairs hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical assemblies
  • Monitors PLCs for diagnostics and minor adjustments
  • Testing & Documentation
  • Conducts performance tests using voltmeters and power supplies
  • Verifies dimensions and tolerances using precision instruments
  • Records test results and prepares documentation
  • Reads blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
  • Parts & Inventory Management
  • Identifies and orders parts using OEM drawings and online resources
  • Schedules and prioritizes maintenance tasks
  • Assigns work based on team capabilities and workload
  • Training & Collaboration
  • Trains and cross-trains team members in maintenance procedures
  • Coaches mechanics on qualification requirements
  • Collaborates across departments to ensure equipment uptime
  • Safety & Compliance
  • Follows safety guidelines and wears appropriate PPE
  • Ensures compliance with workplace safety standards
  • Adapts to changing work environments and conditions
Qualifications:
  • Ability to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings
  • Advanced troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Efficient computer use and documentation skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Familiarity with high school-level math concepts
  • Knowledge of pneumatic systems, soldering, and calibration
  • Comfortable with repetitive motions and fine motor task
Additional InformationEducation and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years as an Industrial Electrician or Maintenance Mechanic
  • Experience in both electrical and mechanical systems
  • Corrugated industry background a plus
Other Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Travel: Frequent travel to facilities in Los Angeles area
  • Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Requires standing, sitting, walking, and color vision
  • Pre-Employment
  • Candidates must successfully complete background and reference checks, a drug screening, and a physical exam prior to hire.
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption with weekly testing
