Our growing client in central Houston is hiring for an entry level mechanical Assembler. Responsible for helping with proper completion of make ready equipment in the shop.
Location: Houston
Compensation : $18 an hour
Hours: The hours are 6am-2:30pm M-F.Responsibilities:
-Ensure the safety, reliability and dependability in compliance with company policy and OSHA regulations
-Assist technicians with equipment maintenance
-Learn about maintenance and electrical of elevators
-Pull material for gates and side screens
-Organize returning materials
-Assemble side screens
-Assist in painting the elevators/hoists
-Housekeeping of the shop
-Operate a forklift and soldering tools
-Take measurements using tapes, transits, levels, etc.Requirements-
-High school diploma or GED
-Ability to read procedures
-Ability to use tools
-Ability to determine type of welds needed on various metals
-Must have valid driver's license and good driving record
-Must be able to follow all safety procedures
-Must be able to work self sufficiently
-Must be punctual
