FNA is a dynamic organization with unprecedented growth due largely to its ability to attract and retain highly talented associates.We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Supervisor who can continue producing the highest quality products on the market.Primary Purpose:Work with Manufacturing to facilitate a continuous improvement process. Provide technical and quality support for all manufactured products. Ensure products are built in compliance with required instructions, BOM's and most importantly, customer expectations.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with Quality Manager to develop, formulate and direct quality control programs involving advanced inspection methods, devices and control techniques.
  • Delegate authority and responsibility to qualified inspectors to maintain satisfactory quality through internal and external inspection services relative to raw materials, finished items purchased, production operations and processes.
  • Conduct and/or supervise studies to determine cause, effect and the corrective measures required to remedy deviations impairing desirable standards of quality.
  • Confer with, and in conjunction with, Engineering and Manufacturing personnel, resolve problems relative to product designs, specifications, materials, tooling, and productions operations affecting quality.
  • Conduct and/or supervise investigative procedures having to do with customer complaints; advise the sales department on technical matters relative to such complaints.
  • Maintain constant surveillance, either directly or through inspectors, over the inspection process.
  • Conduct training sessions to keep department personnel informed on procedures, methods, use of equipment and other quality control techniques.
  • Ensure satisfaction of the department's requirements in the areas of staffing, orientation, communications and compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure work standards and procedures are developed and documented to cover quality department requirements.
Qualifications:Required:
  • Proven ability to identify creative solutions to problems.
  • Above average computer knowledge with spreadsheets and databases.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
  • Proficient in mechanical drawings.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment.
