
Security Officer - Industrial Site Patrol - Part Time

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous presence.
- Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
- Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support emergency response activities as needed, following site-specific protocols.
- Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
