- Design, plan, implement and maintain Current IP network including but not limited to Layer 2, Layer3, Protocols including MPLS, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, and all layer 3 routing.
- Design, plan, implement and maintain current transport network, including but not limited to Layer 2 and MPLS TP.
- Work with team members to train and document current network and procedures.
- Design, plan, and participate in installation, maintenance, and optimization, and/or performance of Enhanced Packet Core (EPC), Routers/Switches, including analysis, parameter definition and ancillary equipment, router/switch configuration, and IP routing optimization.
- Analyze IP routing and recommend and/or implement IP routing optimization to improve IP network latency and performance.
- Analyze packet core KPIs and recommend EPC and transport network changes to maximize/optimize network equipment infrastructure.
- Solve non-routine problems based on analysis of multiple factors. Independently identifies key issues, patterns or deviations from norm.
- Work on problems requiring judgment and in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Analyzes and interprets research to evaluate and recommend solutions.
- Explain advanced technical information to less experienced team members. Provides specialized technical guidance to others in work area.
- Build productive internal/external relationships and collaborates with others in own team or across teams.
