Responsible of supporting Maintenance and Repair (M&R) and FAK (Freight All Kinds) Warehouse Supervisor. Responsible for making sure site location has parts available to fix/repair chassis, gensets and refrigeration units to meet operation requirements following state and federal laws and regulations. Ensure that damaged equipment and other reports are updated on a weekly basis. Assist the M&R FAK Warehouse Supervisor with receiving and dispatch of materials and spare parts and related paperwork. Deliver and retrieve materials and spare parts to outside vendors.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meeting the weekly M&R Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including:
- Chassis Preventive Maintenance (PMs)
- Genset PMs
- Chassis Out of Service (OOS)
- Genset out of service (OOS)
- Ensure all work orders are entered in MCS required to reflect the actual repairs/PMs done weekly
- Checking PMs in and out of the shop
- Making sure parts/materials are ordered through MCS
- Receiving and managing parts/materials into MCS as soon as they are delivered as to ensure inventory is up to date
- Dispatches parts/inventory
- Coordinate with Supervisor the equipment to be sent to third party vendors
- Validating third party invoices
- Validating over the road repairs when equipment is returned
- Support supervisor to produce a weekly out of service report when required
- Provide mechanics with supplies to ensure proper repairs
- Follow all maintenance SOP's
- Special projects and miscellaneous assignments as necessary or required by maintenance and repair and FAK Warehouse Supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma required
- Mechanical background or experience a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong computer skills
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read, speak, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Must wear approved safety shoes and other safety equipment as required
- General office, shop, and warehouse.
- Incumbent may use calculators, computers, telephone, and other office equipment during normal workday.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds easily throughout shift.
- Must be able to twist/turn, reach over shoulders and stand/walk on a continual basis.
- Must be able to work shifts as assigned such as weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime.
- Stooping, squatting, walking, reaching, bending, twisting, lifting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
- Use repetitive motions using upper and lower extremities, mount, and dismount equipment.
