Our client, a leading provider of mission-critical government systems, is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary technical team. You’ll work within all stages of varied project lifecycles, including conceptualization, design, development, integration, operations, and maintenance of advanced technical systems in the defense and aerospace industry. Provide strategic leadership to define and propel AI/ML solutions for customers.
Translate complex needs into technical requirements and scalable AI/ML solutions.
Serve as company champion and SME to communicate AI/ML proposals and designs to stakeholders.
Design, train, and assess LLMs and expand company knowledge base in AI/ML.
Develop algorithms for recognizing patterns using varied large data sources that are structured and unstructured.
Extract and classify features from complex Digital Signal Processing tools using artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Create, test, and iterate models in support of expedited mission essentials.
Partner with product managers, system architects, and clients to prioritize and apply AI/ML solutions.
Stay current with emerging technologies, criteria, and industry applications; author technical papers, present training, and serve as an industry thought leader.
What You’ll Bring:
Five or more years of AI/ML Engineering in industries involving defense-, aerospace-, space- or satellite-related industries.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is desirable.
Expertise with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar ML tools.
Experience applying AI/ML to DSP; mission or resource management; pattern of life detection or behavior modeling (at least one of these).
Expertise in deep learning, neural networks, networks, transformers, encoders / decoders, CPU and GPU architecture.
Must be a US citizen; must already have TS/SCI clearance or be able to obtain and keep it.
