The Brook – Dupont, located in Louisville, KY, is an 88-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children and adults.Website:The House Supervisor under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for administrative and clinical supervision of nursing staff. Has administrative responsibility for nursing and non-nursing staff assigned to evenings and weekends, as assigned by the Nurse Executive and Administration.Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Supervises, coordinates, and evaluates activities of nursing personnel to provide quality nursing care
  • Responds to others on the unit in a helpful manner, especially in times of increased patient activity or short staffing situations
  • Assists staff to integrate new procedures into their nursing practice
  • Identify learning needs of staff and communicate those to Nurse Managers

QualificationsRequirements:
  • Current KY RN license in good standing
  • Experience in a psych nursing setting preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • BSN degree preferred
  • Current CPR
