You’ll be responsible for budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, specifications, and working drawings. You’ll also mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development efforts.Pre-Design Engineering
  • Review existing as-built drawings
  • Perform field investigations
  • Set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines
  • Coordinate design schedules and deliverables
  • Conduct feasibility studies
  • Prepare schematic designs
  • Design Engineering
  • Perform energy calculations using EnergyPro or IES VE
  • Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules
  • Design lighting systems and controls
  • Engineer normal, emergency, and renewable power systems
  • Conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies
  • Experience with low voltage building systems (Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, Nurse Call) is a plus
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License required
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification preferred
  • LEED Accreditation is a plus
Experience Required
  • 4–6 years of engineering design and/or project management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Familiarity with:
  • California Building Code
  • National Electrical Code
  • HCAI/OSHPD standards (preferred)
  • Net Zero Energy/Carbon design (a plus)
  • Project management (preferred)
