- Undertake professional development and produce scholarly research
- Undertake community service in keeping with the University’s Benedictine values
- Teach on-ground, online, evening, and weekend classes as needed
- Teach undergraduate courses
- Participate in department, college, and university meetings and committees
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chairperson and/or Dean
- At least a Master degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems, or closely related discipline (e.g. Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Robotics or Software Engineering).
- Ability to teach a broad spectrum of courses across the ACM/IEEE Computer Science curriculum.
- Display collegial disposition and is open to new ideas for improving processes
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
- Demonstrate effective written, oral and organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative and thrive in a dynamic environment

- Three (3) Letters of Recommendation – All letters of recommendation should be professional references and at least one (1) from a recent superior.
