- Develop, implement and execute a strategic business plan for a designated territory to achieve assigned objectives
- Continually identify new customers, contacts and opportunities
- Increase penetration and adoption within existing accounts to build upon and grow the base business
- Identify and educate key health care professionals that manage post-operative pain in the hospital setting
- Manage and coordinate customer visits, educational programs, procedural observations, proctoring, and relevant tradeshow participation
- Collaborates with full-line Area Sales Directors and CSM to cross-functionally coordinate activities and targeting between the CSM and CTM
- Form relationships with hospital administration to understand hospital dynamics; develop and present the value proposition of the therapy for administrative buy-in
- Work closely with the Director of Sales to implement and execute strategies to achieve corporate objectives
- Responsible for satisfying the requirements for hospital account and credentialing processes
- Regular and predictable work performance

- Bachelor’s degree required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Specific knowledge and selling or support experience related to post-operative pain management preferred
- Must have strong clinical and technical aptitude
- Must have documented successful track record with sales quota achievement within medical device industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills; the candidate must enjoy and excel at personal relationship building
- Problem-solving / trouble-shooting skills
- Computer experience with Microsoft programs such as PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to travel up to 35%
- Experience supporting cardiac or thoracic procedures
- Experience with therapy awareness in the medical device industry
- Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
- Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed
- Ability to pass account and hospital credentialing processes
