This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for process improvement in a collaborative environment.Job Title: Interim Payroll AccountantLocation: Tempe, AZ (4 days onsite)Pay Rate: $30 - $38 per hour, depending on experienceProject Length: Contract-to-hire preferredResponsibilities include:Prepare journal entries and reconciliations related to payroll, labor, and benefitsManage payroll reconciliations across multiple entitiesProcess monthly payroll entries including regular, off-cycle, capitalized labor, PTO, and bonus accrualsAssist with quarterly and annual payroll reporting complianceMaintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all payroll-related processesRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or 5+ years of relevant experienceExperience with financial/accounting softwareHigh attention to detail and confidentialityAdvanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
