  • Evaluate requirements and and analyze best methods of implementation for cost, timeline and functionality. Present findings in design reviews.
  • Design electrical components and assemblies, including tactical components, test assets, and system interfaces.
  • Document electrical designs. Create drawings including wire run lists, and BOMs to existing government specifications and requirements.
  • Support troubleshooting and testing activities ranging from component-level to integrated system level.
  • Work closely with a team of engineers, analysts and technicians to design, develop, build, refine, and deliver engineering prototypes and production units.
  • Apply Military Standards in design, as well as cable fabrication and testing techniques.
  • Maintain design documentation through project Configuration Management processes.
Required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Electrical Box Build and Wire Harness design using ECAD tools, primarily AutoCAD.
  • Experience in use of electronic test equipment in testing and troubleshooting of circuit card assemblies and wire harnesses.
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
Desired
  • BS or Masters in EE with a minimum of Five (10) years of professional experience, including specialized in DOD or related programs.
  • Expertise of schematic development tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with multiple ECAD software tools.
  • Familiarity with MCAD programs such as SolidWorks.
  • Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
