We foster a culture of inclusion through: Talent, Education & Communication, Employee Groups and Celebration.Position OverviewThis position is responsible for managing planning, inventory management and reporting/business analysis for Luxury labels, Menswear (Purple Label, RRL) & Womenswear (Collection, RRL), for RL’s North America wholesale business.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey focus to include:· Work collaboratively with Sales and Merchandising to identify and define product strategies and opportunities to implement assortment plans for all product divisions and categories to support the brands financial strategy to drive mutually beneficial and profitable results.· Strong partnership with Sales partners to ensure seasonal assortment plans meet the business objectives and needs for each account in collaboration with Buyers.· Analyze historical and in-season selling to guide, and action future seasons plans.Accountabilities/Action Steps:Strategic Financial & Assortment Planning Process· Collaborate with Sales to prepare seasonal assortment plans and recommended core buys.· Recap and validate assortment plan rollups and metrics to ensure product placements are meeting financial goals.Reporting & Business Analysis· Report weekly on retail sales performance by label and by account:· Partner with Sales regularly to review account sales performance:o Analyze best and worst performers.o Highlight and action current and future opportunities in all product lines.· Manage various ad-hoc projects that will require a full understanding of product life cycle.Inventory Buying & Order Management· Create and maintain various order and sales tools for market prep and sales meetings.· Drive buying process for seasonal and core orders at the size-level; make recommendations for additions and deletions from core assortment.· Partner with Account Services and Sales on validation of orders.· Manage updates/recaps required throughout the buying cycle with meticulous attention to detail.Management & Communication· Maintain strong working relationships with Sales, Merchandising and Account Services.· Ensure high-level collaboration and proactive communication with all levels to drive business towards plan achievement.Experience, Skills & Knowledge· College degree required· 2-5 years of related experience in merchandising, buying, assortment planning with focus on retail analysis and keen eye and interest for product· Self-starter and highly motivated with strong communication and problem-solving skills· Strong computer and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy; advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) required· Proficiency in retail math· Wholesale and Luxury experience preferredRalph Lauren will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records in a manner consistent with the requirements of the law, including any applicable fair chance laws.
