We're seeking a Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. Experience with pediatrics, early childhood intervention, behavior analysis, or human development is beneficial. You will work closely with patients and must accurately document their current condition and progress. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.Duties:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to patients of ages 0-21 years of age
- Conduct patient assessments to determine speech and language needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer therapy sessions to improve communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language development.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and case management.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to inform treatment approaches.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on speech and language disorders and provide strategies for home practice.Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
