Works under the general supervision of the Administrative Director or Clinical Manager of the assigned area and is responsible for organizing the plan of care for patients while providing education and eliminating any potential barriers to treatment. - Functions as primary manager for staff nurses within the outpatient divisions.
- Works with staff RN to coordinate the medical care of patients within service line.
- Conducts the evaluation, planning, development, and implementation of MLH operations and MLH goals and objectives while coordinating and developing policies, procedures, processes and projects for the assigned program, clinic, or service.
- Promotes patient and family centered care through implementation of professional role. Communicates effectively to provide optimal patient care and promotes professional climate throughout the facility.
- Assures patient continuity of care with multi-disciplinary team members.
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing- RN
- 1-3 years Clinical healthcare (acute or hospital)
- Pediatric
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse Tennessee - Tennessee Board of Nursing
- Registered Nurse Arkansas - Arkansas State Board of Nursing
- Registered Nurse Mississippi - Mississippi Board of Nursing
- Proficient in computer operations acquired either through work experience or education, including word processing and spreadsheet programs.
- Ability to understand and prepare moderately complex written materials.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and projects and maintain control of workflow.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations as would be acquired through completion of high school.
- Understanding of basic research principals and scientific methods.
- Supervises all clinical and support staff assigned to the clinic.
- The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
- Must have good balance and coordination.
- The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
- The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
- The conditions to which the Associate will be subject in this position: The Associate is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work.
