Install and terminate a wide range of low voltage cabling, including CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, CAT8, coaxial, and both single-mode and multi-mode fiber optics.
Interpret and work from blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams to route and install cable infrastructure throughout commercial facilities.
Install, terminate, and test telecommunications hardware such as RJ45 connectors, 110/66 block patch panels, keystone jacks, wall faceplates, and wireless access points.
Set up and secure support infrastructure, including J-hooks, cable trays, ladder racks, innerduct, and conduit for horizontal and backbone cabling.
Perform Installations including dressing and routing of cable into telecommunications closets, modular furniture, and other work area outlets.
Utilize various types of testing equipment from 4-Pair Tester, Toner-probe set, OTDR, and Fluke DTX for validation purposes.
Will perform work on ladders, scissor lifts, bucket trucks, and various types of elevated platforms.
Use a variety of hand and power tools (impact drills, cable cutters, punch down tools, crimpers, fish tape, etc.) to complete daily tasks with precision and efficiency.Basic Requirement:
Must have a Valid Driver s License and own transportation.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
