Join AMEWAS.The Position:AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Engineer (MJC)-Senior to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation. The salary range of this position is $90,000.00 - $160,000.00 and is commensurate with experience. To learn more about the surrounding area, please visit:A typical day as an Engineer (MJC)-Senior may include:
  • Develops and operates software written in C++ that controls/coordinates robotics and antenna positioning systems along with radio frequency (RF) instrumentation (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and other RF receivers)
  • Uses Qt in an anechoic chamber testing facility
  • Supports electronic warfare (EW) test activities with customers
  • Develops and utilizes data analysis scripts using Python/MATLAB to assist customers in getting the data that supports their test objectives
  • Works with mechanical engineers and technicians to develop new EW test capabilities
  • Troubleshoots existing EW test capabilities
Must-haves:
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering: Degrees in Engineering, Math and Physics may qualify
  • 10 years of relevant work experience
  • 5 years of experience with RF test equipment and instrumentation
  • 3 years of C++ experience
  • Experience developing software on Linux
  • Experience with source control management such as git
  • Experience using Python and MATLAB
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Experience supporting EW testing
  • Experience using Qt
