Performing all actions related to the preventive maintenance program of the Company
Intervening in production issues related to mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance
Performing tooling changes, machine setups, and making in-process adjustments
Rebuilding, calibrating, and configuring sealing components and controls
Documenting clear and detailed information regarding machine downtime, repairs, and critical process controls
Assisting with the start-up and shutdown of machines
Engaging in continuous improvement projects
Participating in equipment installation
Testing equipment to ensure efficiency and performance needs are met
Maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding various production machines and equipment
Following all safety and cGMP requirements
Minimum Requirements:We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
Post-secondary education degree with a combination of 2+ years of experience, or 4+ years of experience within a related field
Strong mechanical competence
Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of equipment based on industrial process controls and pneumatics, including PLC Programmable Logic Controllers, reed switches, valves, relays, temperature controllers, and solenoids
Understanding and performing LOTO procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic math skills
Ability to follow complex procedures
Attention to detail while maintaining a quality product
Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have:
Post-secondary education in a related field with 3+ years of experience
3+ years of manufacturing equipment repair (electrical, pneumatic, mechanical)
Production experience in a CGMP or Lean manufacturing environment
Strong leadership skills
Familiarity with mechanical drawings and operation sequences
Physical and Environmental Requirements:This role requires the ability to:
Work in a fast-paced controlled cleanroom environment for 8 hours a day with additional overtime as needed
Operate in a controlled environment with specific gowning requirements including gloves, hair & beard net, face cover, safety glasses, and no makeup/jewelry
Use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene
Follow all safety protocols
Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, and grasping
Use hand tools and equipment, including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling
Occasionally lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds unassisted
