- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and performance gaps.
- Design, develop, and update training programs, materials, and resources.
- Conduct training sessions for new hires, existing employees, and leadership teams.
- Utilize a variety of training methods, including workshops, e-learning, simulations, and on-the-job training.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
- Monitor employee progress and track training completion rates.
- Modify training programs as needed based on feedback and changing business needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development.
- Mentor and guide a team of trainers, providing coaching and professional development.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure training aligns with career development paths.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for employees.
- Prepares a variety of narrative and statistical reports and course curriculum information.
- Supervises maintenance of employee training history files.
- Conducts training for staff regarding quality and effectiveness of training programs.
- a Master’s Degree and 3+ years of experience, or
- a Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience, or
- an Associate’s Degree and 7+ years of experience, or
- at least 9+ years of experience applying the below, outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, practices, techniques and advanced adult education.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of several areas of training and education including texts and materials developed in the field.
- Specialized knowledge of training and educational methods and techniques as well as advanced adult education principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of the agency’s or institution’s functions, operations and purpose.
- Considerable knowledge of experiential learning techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using training software, e-learning platforms, and multimedia tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
