- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and profitability
- Lead integration and change management initiatives across the business
- Oversee daily operations, product development, and delivery
- Manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Build and mentor a senior leadership team aligned with group values
- Represent the company to key stakeholders, partners, and customers
- Collaborate with group leadership to shape broader commercial strategy
- 5+ years in senior leadership within advanced manufacturing, photonics, or quantum-related industries
- Proven success in business strategy, financial management, and team leadership
- Strong commercial acumen and experience with product development and market introduction
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A relevant technical degree (e.g., Physics, Optics, Materials Science)
- Proficiency in business systems (MRP, CRM, financial software)
- M&A integration and scaling of acquired businesses
- Background in quantum science applications
- Familiarity with US Government innovation programs (SBIR, STTR)
- Experience in defence-related program delivery
- Knowledge of nonlinear optical materials (e.g., PPLN/PPKTP)
- Multilingual capabilities (German, French, Spanish, or Chinese)
- Postgraduate qualifications
