Title: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Southfield, MI
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12s (36 hours/week), 7:00 PM – 7:30 AMJob Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist delivers life-support, resuscitation, and medical gas therapies. Responsibilities include both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures in ICU and general practice units. The role involves documenting patient care, communicating with clinical staff, and supervising or mentoring respiratory therapy students and externs.Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
Team player with strong communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

NICU experience is preferred.

Required Education:

Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program.

Preferred Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Licensure & Certifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Patient Load:

ICU: up to 6 patients.
Treatment areas: 1 to 20 patients (varies).
