Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Product Engineer to lead lifecycle management and provide technical support across our product portfolio. This role requires a strong engineering foundation, the confidence to make decisions quickly and accurately, and a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable products.Key ResponsibilitiesLifecycle Management & Portfolio Support Drive proactive updates and improvements to extend product life and reduce costs, revising products and documentation to minimize strain on manufacturing and inventory without sacrificing functionality.Customer Engagement Partner with customers to address product-specific needs, investigate improvement opportunities, and implement enhancements to protect market share and adapt to evolving demands.Production Optimization Improve manufacturability (DFM/DFMA), reduce defects, and design jigs, fixtures, and assembly aids to increase efficiency and reduce build time.Operations Ramp-Up Support cross-functional teams in scaling production for new or revised products, ensuring smooth transitions and operational readiness.Roadmap Alignment Execute sustaining product roadmap initiatives, ensuring enhancements align with both customer needs and strategic objectives.Quality & Reliability Contribute to root cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer feedback initiatives while providing technical support on quality and manufacturability issues.Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate, up-to-date product documentation and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards.Supervision of Engineered Solutions Oversee the Engineered Solutions Specialist to ensure high-quality delivery of custom solutions and effective process management.Supply Chain Resilience Proactively identify at-risk components, develop alternate sourcing options, and implement sustainable design solutions to reduce supply chain vulnerabilities.Data-Driven Improvements Plan and execute product testing to validate design changes, leveraging analytics and feedback to refine materials, processes, and cost-saving initiatives.QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field4+ years of product engineering experience with emphasis on product supportProficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD) and related engineering toolsStrong problem-solving skills with innovative and creative thinking abilityExperience managing projects; knowledge of agile methodologies a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentPassion for innovation with exceptional attention to detail
