With professional training, career advancement, and a supportive environment, we empower our people to lead with purpose and make a lasting impact.Position SummaryWe're seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Response Team (MRT) - Technician 2 to provide essential maintenance support across multiple communities. In this floating role, you'll travel to different sites, assist with repairs, upkeep, and unit turns, and help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for residents. Your hands-on expertise, adaptability, and commitment to quality work will ensure each property operates at its best.Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to assigned communities from Everett to Olympia to provide maintenance coverage.
  • Assist with cleaning, upkeep, and grounds maintenance.
  • Support unit turns, building upkeep, and common area repairs.
  • Complete work orders, including basic maintenance on units and appliances.
  • Provide groundskeeping services to maintain curb appeal.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests.
  • Work toward obtaining an O7B electrical technician license, if not already held.
  • Attend and participate in regular meetings and trainings.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; minimum one year of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience with verifiable references.
  • O7B License preferred.
  • Must provide own hand tools.
  • Reliable, insured vehicle with capacity to transport tools.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proficiency in basic math, including fractions, decimals, and percentages; basic algebra and geometry a plus.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; strong problem-solving skills.
  • Professional communication skills for resident and team interactions.
  • Comfortable working outdoors, in varied terrain, and in all Pacific Northwest weather conditions.
  • Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds; frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, and hands-on repair work.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • 152 hours (19 days) PTO annually, plus carry-over up to 120 hours and longevity PTO at 5 and 9 years
