Duties include but are not limited to clinical, administrative and clerical tasks such as rooming patients, taking vitals, intake of medical history and medications, registration duties, scheduling appointments, insurance verification and customer service.As a Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative assigned to our GME team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Residents and Fellows while they build expertise in specialized areas. Working with Residents and Fellows will give you the opportunity to shape our future clinicians. This presents an unusual opportunity to join us at the foundational stage of establishing this practice.Our clinical teams ensure the smooth operation of our medical practices. This Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative will be assigned to Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic in Salisbury, Maryland.Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative Position Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Medical Assistant certification from an approved Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • At least one year of administrative/customer service experience required.
  • Previous experience in a health care environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience with an electronic health record preferred.
  • CPR Skills required.

  • Monday through Friday, Day Shift
