Job Description:OverviewMultiple Sign On Bonus Options!$5,000 -1 year work commitment$10,000 - 2 year work commitment$20,000 - 3 year work commitment(Internal Mission Partners not eligible)Our outpatient multidisciplinary team evaluates and treats a wide range of patient populations and diagnoses in the metro region. We have clinicians that specialize in orthopedics, neurology, vestibular, pelvic floor, and lymphedema. Our team consists of 11 PTs, 2 OTs, 2 SLPs, and 2 rehab techs across 2 clinic locations, with a 3rd clinic opening in 2024. Our main site is located within OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center, a 274-bed hospital. Our 2nd location is at OSF Center for Health in Oak Lawn providing PT services including industrial rehab. Our collaborative and energetic team is focused on maximizing functional outcomes and helping patients meet their personal goals by providing 1:1 personalized and evidence-based patient care.OSF Rehabilitation offers an environment for clinicians that is supportive in professional development and offers paid continuing education units, tuition reimbursement for further education, and 401k with $1 per $1 match on first 5% of salary! Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.POSITION SUMMARY: The Physical Therapist assists patients in the restoration of physical function through evaluation and treatment.
QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation:
  • Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
Licenses/Certifications: ​
  • Respective state license in Physical Therapy or has graduated successfully from a professional program, is in receipt of Authorization to Test Letter, is scheduled to test within 60 days of eligibility, and has not failed the licensure exam. After passing licensure exam, state license must be verifiable within one year of hire.
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire
  • Valid state driver’s license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor vehicles driving record abstract.
Other skills/knowledge:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • ​Previous experience as a Physical Therapist
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information.
  • Analytical ability to evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problems.
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner.
