Production Operator - 1st Shift (Temp)
Location: Independence, OR

Schedule: 1st Shift, 5:00am - 3:30pm (mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed)About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate a computer-controlled production system that processes multiple raw material ingredients in a mix room. You will ensure production lines meet quality and performance standards, coordinate with equipment operators and material handlers, and perform routine housekeeping and inventory tasks.Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor a computer-controlled production system for raw material mixing.Coordinate with heavy equipment operators and material handlers to maintain consistent material flow.Perform machine adjustments to maintain production quality and quantity standards.Complete quality checks such as weighing and volume testing.Ensure the correct roll stock is placed on the machine and adjust as needed.Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping and preventing material buildup.Document production activities with accuracy and timeliness.Notify maintenance personnel of equipment issues.Follow all safety guidelines to protect yourself and your team.Requirements:Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.Comfortable working in dusty, hot, cold, and wet environments.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.Ability to stand and work on your feet for most of the shift.Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.Pay Details: $18.60 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
