- Proven leadership in UX for complex digital/web products
- Strong visual design skills and expertise with design systems
- Responsible for leading the full UX design process from ideation to launch
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems and style guides
- Collaborate with user researchers to gather rider/user insights
- Establish and document best UX practices and processes
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders for alignment
- Design customer-facing applications for both mobile and web platforms
- Hybrid work schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote (must be local to NYC)
- Experience in transportation or transit industry and/or mapping features preferred
- Accessibility guidelines experience is a plus
- Portfolio samples required
- High-priority, urgent role for complex application design
