The Material Handler – Shipping & Receiving will play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and ensuring our customers receive the right part on time, every time. This hands-on position combines shipping & receiving, inventory management, and local deliveries — perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced CNC shop environment.What You'll Be Doing:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and parts
- Package and ship outgoing products with care and accuracy
- Drive the company van to deliver parts to vendors and customers (local area)
- Maintain clean and organized inventory areas and shop floor
- Support quality control by inspecting incoming/outgoing parts using basic gauges (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Assist with basic rework (grinding, polishing, thread chaser)
- Enter and update inventory data using a computer system
- Follow safety and ISO quality procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required for deliveries)
- Basic computer proficiency and math (8th grade or higher) competency
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Operate pallet jacks or forklifts (forklift certification is a plus)
- Comfortable using basic hand tools, power tools, grinders, and inspection equipment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and customer service-oriented
- Strong initiative and eager to learn
