
Senior Payroll Specialist

- Submission of weekly and biweekly payrolls with accurate processing of any and all deductions and earnings for employees
- Maintain accurate records of and compliant procedures with wage garnishments and withholding orders, including the setup of 3rd third-party payee, payment setup with remittance, and scheduled deductions
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate submitted reports
- Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Work collaboratively with the Human Resources team, department managers, and other accounting team members
- Complete other general payroll and accounting duties as assigned
- 3–5 years of hands-on payroll experience using ADP Workforce Now in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to process payroll for 2000+ employees per week with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Strong understanding of payroll best practices, multi-state payroll tax laws, and standard accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze and resolve data discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills — written and verbal — with a focus on customer service and responsiveness.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines, multitask effectively, and prioritize competing responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with reporting tools or other HRIS/payroll systems.
