  • Support and coach trainee Weld Technicians
  • Cleaning and maintaining machinery
  • Skilled in using hand measuring tools to precise standards
  • Operate a multimeter with ease
  • Change and maintain weld gun components
  • Facilitate shift changes between stationary and automated welding cells
  • Lubricate and maintain fixtures and welding cells to prevent breakdowns
  • Implement and troubleshoot the Red Rabbit process, adjusting sensors when required
  • Perform adjustments to weld fixtures as needed
  • Install and configure common sensors accurately
  • Troubleshoot welding technologies, from resistance spot welding to GMAW systems
  • Navigate the Plex system for documentation and part location
  • Apply welding techniques: resistance, projection, and GMAW
  • Examine dispense systems for proper setup and operation
  • Monitor and adjust nut feeders to maintain functionality
  • Execute basic resets of cells, robots, and tools
  • Fine-tune robotic programming points within systems

Operational Hours and Location:The role is for the night shift, 7:30 PM - 6 AM from Monday to Thursday, with potential Friday commitments, based at Cusseta, AL. Training on a 1st shift schedule is necessary.Requirements for the Role:
  • Must be 18+ years
  • Capability to stand 8-10 hours more with reasonable accommodation
  • Excel in pre-offer Auto Tech I & II assessments, and secure a qualification card within a year
