We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.SummaryAs a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing solutions for the Identity and Access Management (IAM) program at Simplot. You will work with a team of experts to design, develop, maintain and support Identity systems for both the internal Identity (IAM) and customer Identity (cIAM) systems that meet the business needs and security requirements of Simplot. You will also collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure the quality and effectiveness of those solutions, as well as, contribute to new integrations between our products and applications.Key Responsibilities
  • Designs, develops, tests, implements, and integrates Identity systems and solutions using various tools and technologies
  • Prepare technical design options according to business and technical requirements, consulting with others across Simplot on options and strategies
  • Troubleshoots, supports and resolves system incidents, problems and changes related to Identity systems
  • Support upgrades and lifecycle management of all Identity systems and environments
  • Collaborate across departments to implement secure and scalable IAM solutions
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on IAM architecture and strategy
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices within Identity Management
Typical EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldRelevant Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Identity concepts and solutions is desired, or equivalent Delivery Engineer experience within similar systems
  • Experience with Identity tools such as SailPoint IdentityIQ, Ping, Okta, Microsoft Entra External ID or similar is desired
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, Beanshell, Python, XML or JavaScript
  • Possess working knowledge of JSON, REST and API integrations and security
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Git repository and deployment knowledge desired
  • Understanding of authentication services and protocols (LDAP, SAML, OAuth2, OIDC)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
