- Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive logistics plans and strategies to optimize the flow of goods, minimize costs, and enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics activities with production schedules and customer demands.
- Coordinate and manage transportation activities, including selecting carries, negotiation contracts and monitoring shipping schedules. Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished goods while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with freight and parcel vendors to ensure timely and accurate receipt or shipment of 4Patriots Products. Evaluate vendor performance, assist in contract negotiation, and implement measures to improve vendor reliability and quality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor logistics performance. Analyze data and generate reports on transportation costs, inventory levels, delivery performance and other relevant metrics. Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as transportation regulations and import/export requirements. Mitigate risks and implement contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the 4P supply chain.
- University degree (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years in a logistics role, preferably in a D2C company.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Experience working within an ERP (NetSuite preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of small parcel and ground freight fundamentals and import trade compliance preferred.
- Strong project coordination and organization skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize logistics processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers.
