- Manage the end-to-end intake process for policy data across multiple lines of business.
- Ensure accurate application of cash and timely reconciliation of premium/claims discrepancies.
- Serve as a liaison between underwriting, accounting, business servicing teams to troubleshoot data mismatches and resolve coverage queries.
- Maintain and enhance Access databases and Excel-driven workflows used in intake, reporting, and QA tracking.
- Partner with operations and functional leaders to formalize process documentation and propose enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with finance teams to align data with accounting software outputs and ensure compliance with financial controls.
- Lead QA efforts to ensure all policy data meets internal accuracy and completeness standards before ingestion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate smooth data flow and timely resolution of issues.
- Identify and implement improvements to intake processes, tools, and documentation.
- 4–6+ years of experience in insurance operations, data intake, or financial reconciliation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, conditional logic) and experience with Microsoft Access or similar database tools.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with SQL and Snowflake.
- Familiarity with insurance premium structures and coverage types preferred
- Experience working with finance/accounting software and understanding of general ledger impact.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills—must be comfortable interfacing with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
