Our mission is simple: get the customer exactly what they want, precisely when they want it, with zero extra work on their part.About the RoleWere seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead customer- and vendor-facing communications, ensuring accurate and timely updates on order status, shortages, delivery performance, and price list accuracy. This role combines operational efficiency with strong interpersonal skills, including escalation management, team leadership, and executive communication.Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Order TrackingResearch late orders from vendors (approx. 1 hr/day) using hot lists and email scheduler updates.Track and communicate vendor delivery performance.Customer Order TrackingResearch late customer orders (approx. 2 hrs/day).Send change alerts to customers (approx. 1 hr/day).Shortage CommunicationsCommunicate shortage alerts to customers and production/scheduling teams (approx. 2 hrs/day).Reporting & AnalysisGenerate and research the EXOB (Excess and Obsolete) Report (approx. 1.5 hrs/day).Analyze and present data to executives and key stakeholders.Price List MaintenanceMaintain and update vendor price lists to ensure accuracy and current approved pricing.Maintain and update customer price lists to align with approved margins and eliminate discrepancies.Requirements
- ~3 years of experience in customer service, order management, or vendor coordination.
- Experience leading/managing a small team (6 direct reports preferred).
- Strong escalation-handling skills and customer-friendly demeanor.
- ERP experience (Amtech Oncore preferred; transferable ERP acceptable).
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP required; pivot tables a plus).
- Ability to communicate professionally with executives, stakeholders, and clients.
