ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**This is a full-time salaried role working for On-Call . This means you will have exposure to a wide variety of duties and tasks. Those that are interested in having their hands in everything and being on a fast-track learning curve will love this role.The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Sub-contract management
  • Contract exposure
  • Estimating
  • Accounting and balance principles
  • Invoicing and forecasting--tracking financial markers of job profitability and margin.

Please note--Requirements are essential, but preferences have flexibility.REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent communication skills are required. Ability to listen, engage, and influence is vital
  • BS Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience working on public works projects with both field and office responsibilities is required
  • 1+ year of estimating experience in heavy civil project exposure
  • A Driver’s License in good standing is required
  • This position reports into the office in the Salt Lake region
PREFERENCES:
  • 8-12 years' total experience and a previously held role as project engineer
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of P6/Vista/Viewpoint, HeavyBid, HCSS, estimating software, Bluebeam, Excel.
